
Our expanding network of off-road and on-road trails is becoming popular for locals and tourists alike, and connects Frontenac’s lakes, provincial parks and crown land for endless adventure. The opportunity to grow clusters of small businesses that support this market has never been better.
The K&P Trail stretches from the City of Kingston, north through Frontenac to Tichborne. Once construction is completed, it will reach Sharbot Lake and connect to an existing trail that continues north from there. Since the K&P will be closing a crucial gap, it is expected that usage will increase dramatically following completion.
This increase will create demand for services, like repair shops, outfitters, Bed and Breakfasts, restaurants, etc. Frontenac is a great place to launch or grow a small business to support the outdoor recreational lifestyle enjoyed on our trails.
