A group of citizen bystanders administered first aid and secured the scene in Kingston one day last summer after resident Tim Keeling experienced a cardiac arrest behind the wheel of his vehicle. Tyler Yule, Samantha Armstrong, and Charles Nicholas pulled Tim to safety, called 9-1-1, applied their first-aid training, and secured the scene. Communications Officers at the Kingston Central Ambulance Communications Centre answered the call and coordinated the response.
