Frontenac Paramedics operate seven ambulance stations, one logistics base, and one headquarters. We service a population of more than 174,000 people in the Townships of North Frontenac, Central Frontenac, South Frontenac, and Frontenac Islands, and the City of Kingston. 

Headquarters are located at 2069 Battersea Rd., Glenburnie.

Vehicle Fleet

Ambulances

Frontenac Paramedic Services have a fleet of 19 ambulances (14 on duty at peak times), which are 23′ long, 100″ high, 112″ wide and weigh 13,000 lbs. loaded. Thirteen of them are in service at peak times. Most of our vehicles are equipped with ECO-Run monitoring systems in part to reduce carbon emissions.

Superintendent and command vehicles

Our superintendents, who provide operational management and leadership for paramedics, community and allied services liaison, incident management and contingency emergency response options, use these vehicles.

Logistics

Frontenac Paramedic Services has two logistics vehicles, used to restock all stations with medical supplies, linens, cleaning items and facility and building maintenance.
