Attention residents and visitors, During our 2016 annual Resident Quality Inspection (RQI), the ministry issued a Voluntary Plan of Corrective (VPC) regarding levels of lighting in the home. There are parts of our home that are not compliant with the required lighting level of 215 lux, so lighting changes are needed. Phase one of updating lighting levels will begin on Monday June 25. Funds will be used to purchase new wheelchair ramp weigh scale
Glenburnie, ON – Fairmount Home will be purchasing a wheelchair ramp weigh scale thanks to a generous donation of $3,687 by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 560 in Kingston.
The new weigh scale is portable and can be used with wheelchairs, straight-legged chairs or as a stand-on scale, which is important for residents who may require mobility aids to be correctly weighed.
