The Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) makes recommendations to Council with respect to County Official Plan matters. It oversees planning and implications of economic development within the County.
The committee also oversees regional studies affecting planning and economic development, special studies, sustainability issues and planning policy matters. PAC encourages and supports the ongoing County sustainability plan and Directions for Our Future.
PAC has the authority to hold statutory public meetings under the Planning Act.
