 Recruitment and selection process
 Once chosen to participate in the selection process, you may take part in various stages including:
  • A pre-screen telephone call to discuss your skills and qualifications as they relate to the posted position
  • Technical skills testing such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, keyboarding or other job related testing specific to the qualifications outlined in the job posting
  • A panel interview with two or more members of the hiring team
  • A minimum of three references, management/supervisory employment references are required
  • Satisfactory completion of a Police Record Check or a Vulnerable Sector Check if applicable

At Fairmount Home, we are always looking to grow our team with dedicated and talented people, just like you. That’s why, we are excited to announce our Employee Referral Bonus Program - Launch Your Career #inFrontenac! effective immediately.

How it works

Refer qualified candidates and as a “thank you,” we will offer you a bonus paid-out based when your referral meets set milestones.

When completing your registration in your Recruiting Self Serve account there is the ability to indicate the name of an employee who has referred you to the County of Frontenac. This is located at the bottom of the “Details” section in your Recruiting Self Serve account.

Milestones

For a new permanent full time employee referral:

1- If your referral is hired and commences employment, you will receive $75.

2- Upon the referral’s successful completion of the probationary period (sixty (60) worked shifts from the date of hire), you will receive an additional $125.

 

For a new permanent part time employee referral:

1- If your referral is hired and commences employment, you will receive $50.

2- Upon the referral’s successful completion of the probationary period (eighty (80) worked shifts from the date of hire), you will receive an additional $50.

 

For a new permanent casual employee referral:

1- If your referral is hired and commences employment, you will receive $25.

2- Upon the referral’s successful completion of the probationary period (eighty (80) worked shifts from the date of hire), you will receive an additional $50.

 

Criteria

 

1- You must be an active employee at the time of payout to receive your referral bonus.

2- The applicant must indicate at the time of application in the RecruitRight system, that they are being referred by an existing Fairmount employee and provide the employee’s name.

3- Referral bonuses will be paid via payroll and subject to regular incentive tax deductions.

4- The referral program will be for a one year trial period to determine effectiveness.

External applicants

If you are applying as an external applicant, you must upload your up-to-date resume and cover letter into your StarGarden user account.

How to apply:

  • Complete your Applicant Registration
  • Select the position you are interested in applying for
  • Upload your cover letter and resume and select submit
  • Your cover letter and resume must clearly outline how you meet the requirements of the position
  • You will receive a confirmation email that your application has been received
  • You will be able to view your application(s) in your Recruiting Self Serve account

Internal applicants
