
The County is one of 13 member municipalities of the Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (EOWC). Frontenac County’s Warden represents the Frontenacs on the EOWC. Frontenac County staff work closely with EOWC colleagues and staff to advocate on behalf of residents of rural Eastern Ontario to the Provincial and Federal governments. The EOWC’s strategic priorities include infrastructure, housing, and health care.

The Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving rural connectivity, supporting economic growth, and enhancing quality of life in Eastern Ontario. EORN was created by the Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus to establish innovative public-private partnerships to address the digital divide and support a stronger future for rural Eastern Ontario communities.
