Admission

We use the Gentlecare® philosophy, which allows you to make as many choices as possible about your life. We welcome you to our home in the country.

Admission process

The South East Local Health Integration Network (SELHIN) coordinates all of our applications.

When Fairmount Home has a vacancy, the SELHIN will contact you.

Admission day

We will greet you at the reception and guide you to your room. A registered nurse will admit you and review your health and medications. We'll explain all of the documents so that you understand everything that you are signing. We'll also take your picture for your medical record, mark your clothing with your name and inspect any electronic items you may have.

Let us know if you have questions. Admission day can be overwhelming. We provide the support that you and your family need during your admission.
