The County of Frontenac recognizes that an Integrated Community Sustainability Plan can be a living document only if it is developed and maintained with strong community participation.
Community Partnership Agreements recognize organizations in the Frontenacs that support an aligned vision towards County-wide sustainability. In addition to the formalized Community Partnership Agreements, the annually-published documentSustainable Actions includes a long list of organizations that are engaged in sustainable activities in our neighbourhoods. Some of these organizations are listed below, along with others who are active in promoting sustainability in the region.
These groups span a range of interests, from numerous lake associations to renewable energy groups. Many also have associated Facebook pages where you may be able to learn more.
