Further, to address the concern that heavy truck traffic is limiting the number of additional vehicles able to travel on the ferry during key periods, the following restrictions will be maintained:
- No heavy truck traffic limiting other traffic will be allowed to travel from Howe Island to the mainland from 6:30am-8:30am
- No heavy truck traffic limiting other traffic will be allowed to travel from the mainland to Howe Island from 4:00pm-6:00pm
- Fuel trucks will be scheduled to cross at a common time to alleviate the disruption in passenger service.
